CANADA LANDS IS COMMITTED TO ENSURE OUR PLACES OF WORK AND OUR SERVICES ARE WELCOMING FOR EVERYONE.
Believing in integration, equal opportunity, access and participation, Canada Lands is committed to ensuring a safe, dignified, and welcoming environment for everyone. Canada Lands is committed to meeting the needs of all persons in a timely manner and will do so by ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and provincial accessibility laws and by identifying, preventing, and removing barriers to accessibility.
Canada Lands understands the importance of accessibility and seeks to improve the ways in which a person’s independence can thrive at its best. Canada Lands is working on better understanding how differently abled Canadians may be better supported in our initiatives. Our commitment to accessibility across Canada can be reviewed in more detail here in our 2022-2025 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.
As a business with operations in Ontario, Canada Lands is also committed to the integration of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) which intends to achieve an accessible Ontario by January 1, 2025. In support of this goal, Canada Lands, in accordance with AODA’s Integrated Accessibility Standards, has developed a multi-year accessibility plan and an AODA policy. The plan outlines Canada Lands’ strategy to prevent and remove barriers, as well as address the current and future requirements of AODA.
