Shannon Park’s Affordable Housing Advisory Committee

Canada Lands Company has assembled a group of ten affordable housing experts that will assist it with the delivery of new affordable housing options in Dartmouth at Shannon Park. These efforts align with the Company’s commitment to enabling 3,000 with 20% earmarked for permanent affordable units. 

The Shannon Park Affordable Housing Advisory Committee will provide guidance as an advisory body, and meet regularly to exchange dialogue, expertise and recommendations on how Canada Lands will meet its affordable housing commitments. The committee will also provide expert guidance on the coordination of partnerships with organizations that specialize in building housing and affordable housing.
