Mark Laroche reappointed as President and CEO of CLC

Grant B. Walsh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canada Lands Company Limited, is pleased to confirm the reappointment of Mark B. Laroche as President and CEO for a second five-year term commencing in July 2012.

Under Mr. Laroche’s leadership, Canada Lands Company has transformed itself into a high performing organization with a focus on efficiency and sustainability. His first term was marked by unprecedented success and progress in a challenging business environment and included such significant initiatives as the new EdgeWalk attraction at the CN Tower, the construction of a world-class aquarium in Toronto by Ripley Entertainment, the launch of the Pleasantville development in St. John’s, the acquisition of the Pointe-du-Moulin pier and its Silo No. 5 on Montreal’s waterfront, the final phase of the successful Currie Barracks development in Calgary, and the Village at Griesbach, an award-winning residential project in Edmonton.
