Charles J. Connaghan

It is with great sadness that Canada Lands Company Limited acknowledges the sudden passing of board member Charles J. Connaghan on Saturday, October 25, 2003. Born on February 14, 1932, Chuck joined the Board of Canada Lands Company on May 12, 1998. He was President of C.J. Connaghan and Associates, an industrial relations and management consulting firm located in Vancouver, British Columbia, and he held numerous senior management roles throughout his illustrious career.

In addition to being a well-respected member of Canada Lands Company’s board, Chuck was a member of the Order of Canada, a recipient of the Great Trekker Award from the University of British Columbia and a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal.

Canada Lands Company would like to offer its condolences to Chuck’s wife, Mrs. Erma Connaghan, their three children and two grandchildren. Chuck made a tremendous contribution to Canada through his numerous endeavours, and will be sorely missed.
