Naawi-Oodena Secondary Plan Adopted By City Council

Canada Lands Company is pleased to share that the Secondary Plan for the Canada Lands portion of Naawi-Oodena was adopted by the City of Winnipeg City Council on January 25, 2024. The adopted Secondary Plan can be found at the City of Winnipeg website.

With the adoption of the Secondary Plan now complete, Canada Lands will move forward with the preparation of a rezoning and subdivision application for the first phase of the development. The first phase of development for the Canada Lands’ portion of Naawi-Oodena will be the lands south of Taylor Avenue adjacent to the existing South Tuxedo neighbourhood. Information on the first phase of development on the Treaty One portion of Naawi-Oodena can be found on the Treaty One website.
