The first phase of public consultation took place in the spring and summer of 2019, following a series of conversations with local elected officials and community. During the first phase Canada Lands hosted a number of consultation activities to share information, seek ideas, aspirations and additional feedback to inform the district plan for the new William Baker neighbourhood.
